Meadville wow gold Mississippi Mountain Bike Trails

This trail is located entirely within the Homochitto National Forest boundary. This national forest trail offers the mountain biker everything: hills and ridge, wow items creeks and bottoms, flora and fauna so strikingly beautiful that the sight of it all draws bikers here from all over the Deep South. The single-track loop of over ten miles saw only hikers at first, but the biker-friendly National Forest Service in Mississippi evaluated the situation and determined Clear Springs big enough for both hikers and bikers although the steep climbs may make hikers out of the best bikers.

This is really a 2.5 star trail. For biking this trail is pretty sorry. Hiking, it's wonderful. The forest is beautiful. Plenty of nature to make you say, "wow, this is nice." The first half of the trail is way too slow because of the roots. My pace picked up the last half when things smoothed out a little. Although, there are some really fun drops and switch backs that made my heart race with excitment. A nice down hill with a cool little jump at the end. (complements of Mother Nature) There are some great bridges over a few little creeks. I was expecting a faster trail with more steep climbs. It just was not what I expected and hoped for. If you like this trail, then you should try the trail systems around Kincaid Lake in Kisatchi National Forest, just outside of Alexandria, LA. There are other great trails around Shrevport (the Monkey)and Ruston too.
